LAKSHMI TARA RATHAUR PUBLIC SCHOOL is an English Medium School dedicated to the memory of late mother Smt. Lakshmi Devi dedicated to the memory of late mother Smt. Lakshmi Devi and late wife Smt. Tara Rathaur of Maj. Gen. Sher Jang Rathaur VSM Capt. Amrinder Singh, ertwhile Honorable Chief Minister of Punjab very graciously opened it to the public on 29th Nov, 2004.
The School building boasts of contemporary architecture with light, fresh air and sound proofing. It spans over 22 acres of land with wide open space for miles around, creating an ideal environment for the pursuit of academic activities a magnificient auditorium (90 feet x 35 feet) is the new last addition to the campus.

The school strives to cultivate and nurture moral values and character qualities while engaged in academic pursuit to help a child grow into an ideal member of society.

Our main objectives as set out are as under
- The advancement and dissemination of academiv, scientific scholastic knowledge and promotion of physical well being.
- The promotion of extra curricular activities to include fine arts, music, painting, drama and photography.
